I have been providing specialist orthodontic treatment for adults and teenagers at Garstang Dental Referral Practice since 2012. During this time, I have developed a particular interest in providing treatment in conjunction with restorative dentistry and for patients whose teeth have moved as a result of gum disease.
Since 2005, I have been solely providing orthodontic treatment. I undertook 3 years of full time specialist orthodontic training in Liverpool and Crewe through The University of Liverpool School of Dentistry from 2005-2008. In 2008, I gained the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Masters in Dental Science, with distinction, from the University of Liverpool.
From 2010 - 2015 I worked part-time as a Specialty Doctor in the Orthodontic Departments at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Royal Preston Hospitals where I treated patients with complex orthodontic problems; many of who required interdisciplinary management. I was also involved in teaching orthodontics to dental students from the University of Central Lancashire.
I qualified as a dentist in 1997 from The University of Liverpool with BDS(Honours). Over the next eight years, I gained a broad base of experience working both in General Dental Practice, at Liverpool University Dental Hospital and Countess of Chester Hospital.
